| Details: This position will be responsible for current and Next Generation networks and architecture support from a product management perspective. This role will help architect the vision for flexibility, portability, interoperability, scalability, security and system requirements for the L+G North American software platform.  As a key contributor, this position will participate in the global Software Architecture Board (SAB) and Target Software Architecture (TSA) global organizations and provide guidance for network, software, and architecture standardization across L&G. This position will also help develop detailed product and architecture documentation and training to internal and external stakeholders. Specific knowledge of: Software-as-a-Service (SAAS), Security-as-a-Service, Cloud Computing, Web Application Services, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Middleware, WiFi, WiMax, Home Area Networking and Personal Energy Management, Tiny Web Services, Analytics, RFID, Motes, and Distributed Intelligence and other next generation concepts are essential to help L+G properly architect and monetize these solutions while delivering high quality of service (QOS) and reliability of the network. Specific knowledge of AMR/AMI, Data Persistence, Meter Data Management, Meter Data Analytics, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Microsoft .NET, RF/PLC/GPRS is preferable, but not required.
